Principal Quality Assurance Officer – Slough – £300 per day
Role Details:
The post is for 5 months and will be located within the Market Management team which is part of Adult Social Care People, Strategy and Commissioning.
The post holder will be required to have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and at pace. Sound references are required.
They will need solid previous experience and knowledge of working in an adult social care provider quality assurance roles. This will including understanding and knowledge of the requirements for CQC regulated services.
The job role will involve:
- Undertaking a programme of planned reviews of domiciliary care services
- Undertaking responsive quality assurance visits of domiciliary and other regulated care providers
- Working with providers to help improve quality of domiciliary care and other regulated services
- Taking the lead in mobilising recent domiciliary contracts by visiting sites and ensuring processes are in place to deliver safe quality services.
- Contributing to safeguarding and provider concerns meetings
- Working closely with stakeholders including operational adult social care colleagues, the ICB (health) CQC where required to ensure risks are appropriately managed.
The position will require hybrid working in order to undertake service reviews.
